Description

NA This pre-solicitation and solicitation synopsis is for a construction contract to relocate the existing vehicle wash bay at Bldg 15, Tobyhanna Army Depot. Work to include, but is not limited to: removal of all wash bay components of existing system; constr uction of a 34'W X 60'L X 21'H addition for vehicle wash area including concrete foundation and floor slab, concrete masonry unit(CMU)walls, roof framing and installing roof system, insulation, stucco exterior finish and epoxy painted interior; provide and install roll-up vehicle doors and man doors; dismantling CMU wall; provide/install a water reclamation vehicle wash system; extend existing dry pipe sprinkler system; install new lighting; and incidental related work. Period of performance is estimated at 120 days to commence on or after 15 APR 2004. Estimated magnitude is between $250,000-$500,000. NAICS is 236210 (Industrial Building Construction), average annual receipts $28.5 million. Solicitation number W25G1V-04-B-0002 applies. This solicitation, inc luding specifications and drawings, will be issued electronically only. Any amendments will also be issued electronically only. No paper or disk will be available. Issue is in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102(d), and 14.205-1(a). Failure to obtain amend ments and/or acknowledge amendments by the time set for bid opening may result in rejection of your bid. Due to the use of electronic solicitation, the Government is unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Bidders are encouraged to register as a potenti al source for this solicitation (see top of screen for POTENTIAL SOURCES)and to view the registered firms under the Potential Sources logo on the internet site. Bidders are further notified that bids must be submitted in HARD COPY ONLY. ELECTRONIC BIDS WIL L NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated issue/opening dates are 29 DEC 2003 and 29 JAN 2004.
