Description: NA The Portland District, Corps of Engineers, intends to award a contract to Hydroacoustic Technology, Inc. (HTI), 715 NE Northlake Way Seattle, WA 98105 for the supply of Model 290-16 Acoustic Tag Receiver at 3 quantity, Model 299 Acoustic Tag Receiver Multi plexer at 1 quantity, Model 599 Test Hydrophone (f/M299) at 1 quantity, Model 590 Hydrophones at 48 quantity, Model 795m Micro Tags (0.75 grams) at 450 quantity, and Model 795E Acoustic Tags (1.5 grams) at 750 quantity for The Dalles Dam HTI hydrophone sys tem for tracking fish. This procurement will be a firm-fixed price contract procured under the authority of the test program for commercial items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996). Statutory authority for Other Than Full and Open Competition exists at 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. Firms that recognize and can furnish the required supply are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer for consideration no later than December 24, 2003. If no affirmative response(s) are received to the effect that this is available from another authorized supplier and offered at a lower cost then an award will be made to the aforementioned contractor.
