SONYA WHITE AT (251) 690-2535/2536 OR FAX NO: (251) 694-4343. THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF(PPTO) SOLICITATION. This project will provide a new nine level Air Tra ffic Control Tower at Columbus AFB, MS. The tower will consist of pre-cast architectural concrete panels. The pre-cast panels will have face brick cast into the panels that match the adjacent RAPCON building. The cab will have a structural standing seam metal roof. The interior will have both masonry and gypsum board partitions and both acoustical and exposed ceilings. The building will have an elevator, electrically driven fire pump, and back up power provided by a diesel engine generator set. The Nor th American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 23332. The estimated cost range of this project is from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Solicitation documents should be available on or around 16 January 2004. Mr. Ed Slana is the C ontracting Officer for this project.
