Description

Naval Facilities Engineering Command Contracts Office (NAVFACCO) intends to solicit, negotiate and award a contract for a computerized 3-D numerical model of unsteady heat and mass transfer that has geophysical constrains for the Coso Geothermal Field consisting of a model that will take subsurface multiphase (water and steam) flow into account and will incorporate the influences of operating production and injection wells, be constrained using both conventional reservoir engineering data and data from geophysical surveys, be able to predict the energy that may be recovered from the geothermal reservoir under a variety of production and injection scenarios and be able to predict any observable changes in future surface geophysical surveys to aid in the design of the ongoing reservoir monitoring program to SAIC Resource Technology Group, 4770 Eastgate Mall, San Diego, CA 92121, on a Sole Source basis. SAIC is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Government requirements. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price for one base year and one option year. NOTE 22.
