- Description
- The Senior Education Advisor will serve as the in-country manager for the new USAID Djibouti Education Program. The USPSC will develop and maintain a collaborative, professional relationship with staff of the U.S. Embassy and representatives of other USG agencies providing development support to Djibouti. The USPSC will be responsible for in-country development and management of the new Djibouti Education Program, as well as development support for other program sector development that will be considered if the office is expanded. The USPSC will provide technical guidance and oversight of the implementation of the Djibouti Education Special Objective (SPO) and ensure that planned development results are achieved in a highly efficient, effective and timely manner, consistent with USAID regulations, policies and development principles. The USPSC will manage and oversee services and deliverables provided by contractors and grantees, in accordance with USAID program management regulations and procedures, and practices.
