Description
This is a sources sought request for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotations, proposals or bids and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. There is no solicitation available at this time. Standard company brochures are not desired. Information shall focus on the capability to provide the needed supplies/services (see below). The Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement National Aviation Center, seek information regarding the ability to provide Computer Systems Analyst II to provide support in the Information Technology or Information Systems Profession. The qualifications for Computer Systems Analyst II at a minimum an Associate Degree or higher in computer science from an accredited color or university or 250 hours of military, industrial or nationally recognized training and certification in personal computer and network (LAN/WAN) maintenance and support or four years of equivalent experience. Provide necessary skills to perform PC and network troubleshooting. The Computer Systems Analyst II shall be knowledgeable in PC and network hardware and software configuration and networking. The Computer Systems Analyst II shall be skilled in Network and database administration. Assisting government employees with common business software (MS Office, Word) in each discrete application (Excel, Access, Power Point, etc.). Generate and implement a long-term maintenance and support plan for an organization) PC, peripheral, software and network equipment upgrade and/or replacement). Maintain accurate work records of daily activities. Install and maintain multi-media and audio/video systems. Assists individuals the (OCNAC) experiencing various technical problems with their computers. Maintain and support a "full-up, full-time" Internet Server and network. Make necessary adjustment to the systems to correct operation problems or to meet special conditions. Terminate cable(s) with the appropriate connectors. Expand additional phone lines, computer and audiovisual cabling installation and maintenance.
