Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to award a Preventative Maintenance contract for the period of one base plus four option years to J2 Scientific, 1901 Pennsylvania Ave., Suite C., Columbia MO 65202 on the following systems: Gel Phase Permeation Chromatagraph (GPC), Model AS 2000, quantity 4 each. ABC Instruments is the manufacturer of 2 of the systems and is no longer in existence. OI Analytical is the manufacturer of the remaining 2 systems and has transferred support to J2 Scientific. J2 Scientific is the only vendor capable of supplying all parts necessary to cover the preventative maintenance contract for these systems. The procurement shall be processed under the authority of 41 USC253?(1), only one responsible source. This notice of intent is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. No telephone inquiries. See numbered note 22. NOTE: However, FSIS is allowing 15 days response to be considered versus dates noted in note 22.
