- Description
- FISC Norfolk Det. Phila. intends to acquire, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, test administration services from The College Board. The services are required for the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) Pensacola, FL. FISC Norfolk Det. Phila. proposes to modify contract N00140-04-D-0001, with The College Board, to incorporate these additional services. The proposed modification will add the following requirements to contract N00140-04-D-0001: development, printing, and distribution of 14 paper-based test titles derived from the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) computer-based eCBT examinations and other support materials required for the program from 1 April through 30 September 2004. The proposed modification will also provide for scoring of the paper-based CLEP eCBT tests, issuance of score reports and transcripts, and furnishing of related materials and services required for the operation and maintenance of the paper-based CLEP testing program. The proposed modification consists of an estimated 30,000 CLEP exams for the 6-month period. The College Board is considered the only supplier of all the required test administration services and associated materials. The proposed modification solicitation will be conducted under the provisions for Commercial Items in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.
