Description

Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible source and No Oter Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requiremens, OPM Center for Investigations Service (CFIS) intends to renew Criminal Record search services with San Diego, CA County District Attorney's (DA) Office. The San Diego DA's Office provides unique and detailed criminal record information to be utilized in analyzing investigative information for security and suitability adjudication. The information provided under this service contains information available only to other Government agencies. Therefore, the San Diego DA's Office is the intended source for the services. The anticipated contract actions for this service is greater than $100,000. OPM Center for Investigations Service (CFIS) deems it appropriate to award a fixed-price agreement on ther than a full and open competitive basis. Only one responsible source is available and no other types of services will satisfy the needs of the Agency. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, NOR DOES IT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMNET TO PAY FOR COSTS INCURRED IN THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Interested parties that believe they can perform the services stated above to the Agency's requirements may submit their capability statements by E-mail to the Original Point of Contact listed in this announcement. Parties must submit information within fifteen days of publication of this notice. This is not a request for quotations but rather, a notice to determine if there exists other sources that can meet the Government's requirements.
