Description

Tinker Air Force Base Military Housing Privatization Industry Forum 14-15 January 2004 Mark your calendar for January 15, 2004 for an all-day Industry Forum at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City (adjacent to Renaissance Hotel) to discuss this real estate transaction. In addition, there will be an icebreaker/social event at the Renaissance Hotel beginning at 7 PM on January 14, 2004. Tinker AFB, OK, located near Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking to privatize its military family housing. The Government will lease approximately 264 acres of land for 50 years and convey 730 existing housing units and other improvements to a private developer. The developer will provide additional land to accommodate this project. The developer will finance, plan, design, demolish, renovate, and construct a community resulting in an end-state total of 858 privatized housing units. This rental property will provide quality housing for military families and generate an income stream to the developer over the life of the lease.
