Description

NA Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Weibel Equipment, 1221 Shaker Drive, Herndon, VA 20170-2415. This contract will be for ten (10) ST-100i Weibel Doppler Simul ators. These ST-100i Weibel simulators are made for use with the current Weibel radar systems and are state of the art proprietary equipment that must be obtained from the manufacturer in order to be compatible in form, fit and function with our pre-exist ing Weibel systems at USAYPG. Weibel Equipment is the only authorized vendor in the United States that can provide this proprietary equipment. Interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government requirement to Laura.StJohn@yuma.army.mil no later than 4:30 P.M. MST, 26 December 2003. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notic e is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22, with the exception that the time period for receipt of proposals for consideration is 10 days instead of 45 days.
