- PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT (FISC DET PHILA) (OCT 1992) (a) A site visit will be conducted at the Training Support Center, Building 3, Ward Room (main floor), Great Lakes, Illinois, Wednesday, 14 January 2004 at 9:00 A.M., Great Lakes local. A pre-proposal conference will be held upon completion of the site visit. (b) Attendees must submit name of attendee(s) and name of company, in writing, to Anita Spriggs, Contract Specialist, Code 02P21F, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Building. 2B, 700 Robbins Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083, at email address anita.spriggs@navy.mil or at facsimile number 215-697-5418, by 9 January 2004. (c) All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to submit any questions they may have, in writing, to Anita Spriggs, Contract Specialist, Code 02P21F, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Building. 2B, 700 Robbins Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083, at email address anita.spriggs@navy.mil or at facsimile number 215-697-5418, by 9 January 2004. (d) Failure of a prospective offeror to submit any questions or to attend the conference will be construed to mean that the offeror fully understands all requirements of the solicitation. Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. All prospective offerors are advised that at the conclusion of the conference, unless this solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged and, that if an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. Directions From O?Hare Airport: From O'Hare Airport Exist to Chicago Exit, I190 east toward Chicago Loop, exit I294 North to Milwaukee Exit #1C. Continue on I294 turns into I94. Exist on IL 137, Buckley Road east, and follow this road to Sheridan Road, turn right to Naval Station Great Lakes main gate. Turn right into the parking lot to get a visitor pass, Building 130. Once a visitor pass is received, exit the parking lot, right on Farragut Ave, go around Ross Field by turning right on Sampson St., left on Decatur Ave, left on Paul Jones St., and left on Dewey Ave. Building 3 is on the right. Park behind Building 3. Enter building to main floor to Ward Room. No visitor is allowed in Building 3 any earlier than 8:30 A.M. Site visit agenda will be as follows: Opening remarks and welcome 9:00 A.M., Building 3, Ward Room. Tour of the Command (bus will be provided) Lunch 12:00 P/M. to 1:00 P.M. Complete tour (if necessary) Closing remarks 2:00 P.M., Building 3, Ward Room
