Description
A/E services to include but not limited to development of two prototype critical access hospitals. The architect will develop a complete architectural guide for replacement of a critical access hospital building. The two prototypes will be one for a under 26 bed facility and one for a 10 bed facility. The specifications for each type of facility shall be in accordance with the statement of work. The evaluation factors for the contractor selection are listed below in descending order of priority: (1) At least 10 years of specialized technical experience in design of hospitals of less than 26 beds: a. Firm, b. staff; (2) Architectural firm with background for design of healthcare facilities in-house technical staff; (3) Knowledge and experience with AIA "Guidelines for Design and Cosntruction of Hospital and Health Care Facilities", ADA., and NFPA 101; (4) Past performance on Government contracts, time, within budget and cost control. All responsible sources may submit a SF-254/255, which shall be considered by the agency. The NAIC code is 54131. The SIC code, size standard is $4 million. This procurement is unrestricted under the small business demonstration program. The estimated cost of this effort is under $75,000.00. The contractor shall be located within the Continental States. The period of performance will be 6 months from date of award for completion.
