Description

Project calls for the contractor to provide all necessary resources to perform interior/exterior protective coating as required in the statement of work to follow. The project is a requirements contract. Unit prices will be taken for a Base Year (year one) and four Option Years (years two-five). Project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the life of the contract. Performance period is 365 calendar days from the date of award for the base year and 365 calendar days for each option year. SIC Code is 1721. This solicitation is competitive Hub-Zone set aside restricted to contractors currently operating in the state of Texas. Request solicitation must be made in writing. Please state business size, phone and fax number, and a point of contact. Due to the complexity and size of the projects in this contract it will be mandatory to attend the site visit in order to submit a proposal. The site visit will be held on or about 13 Jan 03. The proposals will be due on or about 5 Feb 04. Contract will be awarded on ?best value to Government? basis. The two evaluation factors are Past Performance and Price, with Past Performance being of significantly greater importance than Price. Therefore, the Government reserves the right to award the contract to an offeror other than the one proposing the lowest price. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 5 Jan 04 on FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation.
