- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W9124QDRONESYS is issued as Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated contract will be 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside, Firm-Fixed-Price The solicitation documen t and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18 dated 11 Dec 03. The applicable NAICS Code is 334511 with a size standard of 750 employees. Our requirement is for Drone Formation Control Systems (DFCS). Additional specifications on the requirement are located on our webpage at http://www.wsmr.army.mil/docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm. We anticipate awarding an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with an estimated quantity of twent y-five (25) over the next five years with a quaranteed minimum of ten (10) units the first year. The contract will for consist of CLIN 0001: Non-Recurring engineering costs; CLIN 0002: Drone Formation Control Systems; Estimated twenty-five (25) units. D elivery must be within eight (8) months after award. The government will assess $300 per unit, per week, for consideration for late delivery. The government will reserve all its rights to terminate for default. FOB is destination. Award will be made the contractor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous using the criteria in FAR 52.212-2 which can be found in our webpage cited above. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registrati on (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award if you are selected. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualified. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-2, FAR 52.212-3.
