- Description
- The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested firms with experience relative to NAICS code 561499 (size standard $6.0 million). The General Services Administration, Public Building Service has a requirement for a firm to provide all management, supervision, and labor to plan, schedule, and coordinate the effective performance of the following services: File storage, retrieval and management (on site) including the archiving and disposal of files as needed; Centralized supply storage, management and distribution; Receiving, including limited mail distribution and collection to or from specified drop off points; Copying, faxing, plotter and scanner services. The contractor will also be required to provide a functional help desk, file tracking application and inventory control system. We are requesting all interested and qualified firms respond to this Sources Sought Notice with the following information: (1) name, address, phone, fax, e-mail, and website if applicable; (2) a list of contracts your firm currently holds or has completed. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, a brief description, and point(s) of contact with phone and fax numbers. Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned, HubZone, Veteran Owned, and Disabled Veteran Owned business concerns are encouraged to submit information. Please limit your response to 5 pages. Please fax the information to the attention of Robert Green at (312) 353-0240 or e-mail information to robert.green@gsa.gov by January 7, 2004. Performance period is for a two-year base period and three one-year options. This service will take place at the John C. Kluczynski Federal Building, 230 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois. The solicitation will be posted on the FedTeds website. The solicitation package and any amendments will only be available electronically. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Once the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the website for updates or amendments. The closing date for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of the government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. For additional information, visit the FedTeds website, www.fedteds.gov, or the CCR website, www.ccr.gov. It is recommended that contractors register immediately in order to be able to access the FedTeds website. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for contract award. When the solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the FedBizOpps website and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation separately from their response to this Sources Sought Notice.
