Description
The purpose of the amendment is to provide the Government's response to the following Contractors' questions. 1. Question: Will you be able to provide any storage on-site? Answer: The Government will not provide any storage on-site 2. Question: May we erect a 20' X 20' tent on-site for cooking outside the of the building? Answer: No. This is Government property. The contractor shall deliver the catered meals to the serving site prepared and ready to serve. The contractor will not be allowed to cook or prepare the food onsite. 3. Question: Will the food be served cafeteria style? Answer: As stated in the solicitation, this is a best value award. The contractor will propose the method of serving. Contractor may provide alternate proposals with different methods of serving. 4. Question: Is this Government property? Answer: Yes 5. Question: Will there be a dumpster on-site provide by you for trash disposal? Answer: The dumpster onsite will be used to dispose of the plates, flatware and cups only. Contractor shall be responsible for disposing of all other trash. 6. Question: Is the site available for an inspection today? Answer: No. There is on-going training and the site is not available for inspection. 7. Question: Can disposable plates, utensils and cups / glasses be used? Answer: Yes 8. Question: Is refrigerated and dry storage space available for contractor use? Answer: No 9. Question: What type of dishwashing facilities, if any, are available? Answer: There are no dishwashing facilities available. 10. Question: Will covered dining area with tables and chairs be provided by Government? Answer: Yes 11. Question: Does the Government prefer individual packaged meals or Buffet / Serving Line style meals? Answer: As stated in the solicitation, this is a best value award. The contractor will propose the method of serving. Contractor may provide alternate proposals with different methods of serving. 12. Question: How much space will be allotted for contractor on-site parking? Answer: There is ample space for contractor on-site parking while serving meals. Meals shall be ready to serve when delivered on site. The contractor shall not prepare the meals on site. 13. Question: Can a large refrigerated truck be parked and left close to the facility? Answer: A refrigerated truck may be parked in the rear parking lot of the facility. The truck shall be moved from Government property at the end of each day.
