Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Bethesda, MD is seeking sources to provide full maintenance coverage for Compaq's Vax, Alpha Systems, and various peripheral equipments to include hardware and firmware. Coverage under this contract shall include parts, labor, and transportation. The Contractor is required to provide the specific levels of maintenance: (1) Remote Diagnostic Support - assist the Government to verify the nature of the system problem prior to initiating a request for on-site maintenance; (2) Remedial Maintenance - on-site support available 24/7; and (3) Preventive Maintenance - maintenance support is required at regular intervals - once a quarter. The period of performance will be for a base period and four addition option years, if the Government wishes to extend. Services shall begin approximately February 2004.
