Description

The US Postal Service is seeking to lease or acquire approximately 9,000 SF of existing building space suitable for use as a Vehicle Maintennce Facility; or to acquire a land site of between one and two acres zoned and otherwise suitable for construction of a building for said use. Preference will be given to buildings and sites located within the following boundaries: North: Cumberland County Line; South: Interstate 95; East: Interstate 95: West: Cumberland County Line. The preferred lease term for existing buildings is 10 yrs with four 5-year renewal options. Offers of sites must specify price and provide estimates of all other anticipated costs to the buyer (e.g. rezoning, deceleration lanes, demolition, sewer lines, etc. Offers of existing buildings must indicate annual rent and must provide estimates of all other anticipated costs to the tenant, e.g. real estate taxes, etc. Offers must include a complete description of the proprty and the neighborhood, a floor plan, a site plan, and photographs, and must disclose any environmental concerns. The offeror of the selected site or building will be expected to execute an Option to Purchase or a Lease in favor of the Postal Service and will be expected to hold their offer open for a minimum of 120 days.
