Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acqui sition Circular 2001-18 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This procurement is being issued as unrestricted full and open competition. CLIN 0001: 2 each KC-135 Wing Stands, Container Research Corporation P/Ns 591E001-1 & 591E001-2 or equal, 273 inch es L x 67 inches W x 110 inches H. CLIN 0002: 2 each KC-135 Dry Bay Stands Assembly, Container Research Corporation P/N 630E001-R or equal, 238 inches L x 48 inches W x 100 inches H. CLIN 0003: 2 each KC-135 Nose Stand Assembly, Container Research Corpor ation P/N 637E001 or equal, 340 inches L x 240 inches W x 120 inches H. CLIN 0004: 2 each KC-135 Cargo Door Stand Assembly, Container Research Corporation P/N 654E001 or equal, 217 inches L x 144 inches W x 114 inches H. CLIN 0005: 2 each KC-135 Boom Mai ntenance Stand Assembly, Container Research Corporation P/N 690E001 or equal. All Maintenance Stands for KC-135R aircraft shall be constructed of aluminum extrusions bolted together and fitted with 8- inch diameter casters. Each caster has a brake, swivels , and can be adjusted up or down. The stands should be easily repositioned or moved throughout the hangar. Platforms and stair surfaces should have non-skid panels. Stands should fully comply with the requirements of OSHA, AFOSH, and AWS standards for stru ctural soundness. All heights include 42 inch railing. Items are required within 120 ARO, and FOB destination is required. Place of Performance Address: 171 Base Supply, 300 Tanker Road #4218, Coraopolis PA 15108.
