Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) Contracts and Controls Review Department (CCRD) intends to procure on a full and open competitive basis a requirement for a consultant to provide advance data analysis using the audit tool Audit Command Language (ACL). Services will be provided in determining the appropriate audit test to be performed, will be expected to provide guidance to CCRD personnel on how to independently develop such test in the future, to confirm results of analysis, and to document all database sources, queries. It is anticipated that the PBGC will award a labor hour contract in support of this program. There is an estimated 930 hours of effort to be performed in the base year and similar quantities in each of the two option years. The period of performance for the base year shall be from date of award to September 30, 2004 with two one-year options for renewal. The solicitation document, including amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and associated amendments will not be available.
