Description
12/18/2003 - This amendment is being issued to address questions received concerning Solicitation DG133F-04-RQ-0026. Question How should the bidders fill out the "amount" column on the second page of SF 1449? The form specifies the quantity as 0, so what should go in the amount column? Answer: Each CLIN is a unit which includes training for one 3-day, and one 4-day session priced separately in the description. The unit price should include the total of the 3 and 4 day sessions. The quantity is (1). Question: Should bidders submit a price for Task 2? Answer: Yes. Include CLIN 0006 to price Task 2. Clarify the sentence on page 4. "The quoter's price will be evaluated based on price per class per region in the totality of unit prices by the number of expected courses." Answer: The Government estimates two courses per region; however, the minimum requirement is one. Your price will be evaluated on the total unit prices submitted. Question: The RFP indicates that NOAA has hired NEPA trainers in the past. Since those contracts are matters of public record, would you tell us who those contractors were? Answer: This solicitation is an effort to consolidate all NEPA training for Fisheries. Previously, each region was responsible for contracting its own training services, which was accomplished by issuing purchase orders. THE END. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service, requires contractor services to provide National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Training. The Delivery of training cocurs in lecture and workshop formats accordingg to curriculums designed to incorporate marine fisheries activities and issues. This is being accomplished with FAR Part 12 and the Request for Quotation is attached to the synopsis.
