- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract with a One (1) year Base and four (4) 1 year options. The requirement is for Telecommunication services at the following fourteen (14) correctional facilities: USP Canaan, PA; USP-2 Coleman, FL; FCI Bennetsville, SC; FCI Forrest City, AR; USP Hazelton, WV; FCI Herlong, CA; USP Terre Haute, IN; FCI Williamsburg, SC; FCI Yazoo, MS; FCI Mendotta, CA; FCI-3 Butner, NC; USP Tucson, AZ; SWF Hazelton, WV; FCI Pollock, LA. Telecommunication service for the local dialing area (ISDN-PRI Service) shall be available for testing on a date provided in the solicitation . All of the required telecommunication services must be available for use by a date to be determined. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials and labor to install and provide one (1) local loop DS3 (45Mbps) Service from the nearest Serving Wire Center to the location stated. The Contractor shall provide the DS3 Service for twenty-eight (28) DS1 (1.544 Mbps) Channels for local T1 circuits. This service shall include ISDN-PRI, and local access T1 circuits from the Government?s FTS2001 carrier or any other carrier that has interconnect agreements with the Contractor for local access service. In the event Local ISDN-PRI Service is not available in the local dialing area, the Contractor shall submit options for providing the service to the location. The installation of DS-3 Service is not a guarantee of revenue or usage. Service required will be awarded as One (1) base year and four One (1) year options contract. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards per line item or facility. The solicitation will provide the scope of work, and the following evaluation factors including sub-factors, which are in descending order of importance: Past Performance, Technical Qualifications, and Price. This is not a request for proposals. Contractors capable of providing the required telecommunication services to the specific location in a cost-effective manner and interested in receiving a solicitation must do so solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
