Description

The Texas Army National Guard intends to award a contract to build dump truck bodies for M917 Trucks, NSN 3805-01-028-4389. Vendor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, services supervision and personnel required to develop drawing s, fabricate and paint the dump truck bodies. The completed dump truck bodies will be shipped FOB Destination to the address listed under place of performance. This is a firm fixed-price requirements type contract. This procurement will consist of a one -year base period starting approximately 1 February 2004 through 31 January 2005, with four one-year option periods. We intend to purchase up to 14 dump truck bodies during the base contract period. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Busine ss (SB) concern. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including but not limited to: an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative. The size sta ndard for any concern, including its affiliates is 500 employees. NAICS: 332999, FSC: 3499. All interested parties are required to meet at the address listed below as place of performance on January 8, 2004 at 9:00. Solicitation W912L1-04-R-0006 will be issued at that time. All firms providing a proposal shall ensure they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to their submission of their proposal.
