Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is holding an open forum conference on the subject of: MHE (Material Handling Equipment) Maintenance and Lease Program. This industry interest conference will be held on 08 January 2004, Bldg 1013 Auditorium, Naval Station Bremerton @ 0900 to 1200. We are seeking input from industry on available processes which are currently being utilized in the commercial sector which provide an off-site preventative maintenance program to a minimum vehicle pool of approx 750 MHE?s, throughout the Puget Sound region. In addition, a short-term (60 days or less) MHE leasing capability for when the vehicle pool falls below the stated minimums. Various sizes, manufacturers and types of MHE will be involved. Locations that may be involved: PSNS, Keyport, SWIPAC Bangor, IMF Bangor, Manchester, Whidbey Island, NAVSTA Bremerton, Supship, Naval Hospital Bremerton, Everett Naval Station.
