- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplement with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number for request for quote (RFQ) is F735SCS333701. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a small business set-aside (100%). The NAICS code is 515120 and small business size standard is $12,500,000.00. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for a television signal provider to furnish live news and financial broadcast services to 490 E. Moore Dr. Bldg. 892 MAFB-Gunter Annex. Broadcast channels will include CNBC, Boomberg TV, FOX News, MSNBC, and either Tech TV or The Weather Channel. These five channels will be distributed to 2,000 subscriber units, via intranet, to PC workstations. CLIN 0001: Head-end system equipment and installation to furnish five live news and financial broadcast channels required for HQ SSG; and CLIN 0002: Cost of monthly feed per subscriber unit per month for 18,000 months (2,000 subscribers X 9 months). Anticipated performance period will be 23JAN04 ?22OCT04 and subscription costs for four subsequent option years. Delivery and installation of CLINs 0001 and 0002 will be FOB destination to 490 E. Moore Dr. Bldg. 892 MAFB-Gunter Annex. Clauses and provisions can be accessed via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
