Description: This notice constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.The solicitation number W912CN-04-T-0218 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), and incorporates provisions and clauses that ar e in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. This solicitation can be downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil. The North American Industry Classification System code is 315999, with a small business standard of 500 employees. The acquisition is a firm-fixed requirements contract for communications video equipment. Delivery shall be made FOB destination (FAR 52.247-34) to location specified on Solicitation W912CN-04-T-0218. All interested parties contact CPT Luis Crespo at crespol@shafter.army.mil for further information. The Government is planning to make the contract award under GSA Schedule contract number GS-07F-9489G. All solicitations must meet required delivery date of 01 April 200 4. Offerors who fail to follow the format and requirements listed may be found unacceptable. Quotes will initially be evaluated for delivery acceptability. Only quotes with acceptable products will be considered. Award will be made to the responsible o fferor on the basis of the lowest evaluated price with acceptable past performance and ability to meet the delivery schedule and delivery all items. The government may award a contract based on initial offers received, without discussion of such offers; t herefore, initial offer should contain the offerors best terms from a cost or price and technical standpoint. Full clauses requirements can be viewed at the ASFI for the above mentioned solicitation. Quotes shall be mailed or faxed to the Directorate of Contracting, ATTN: APVG-GKC, Building 520 (Basement), Fort Shafter, Hawaii 96858-5025, Fax numbers (808) 438-6544 or 438-1337 no later than 4:00 P.M. Closing date for quotes is 26 December 2003 at 4:00 P.M. HST.
