- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, will be issuing Solicitation #W912DS-04-T-0004 for the purposes of seeking repair to the SeaBat 8101 Multi-Beam Sonar Sensor Head. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Sensor Head is part of the SeaBat 8101 Multibeam Echosounder Survey System. The equipment operates at 240kHz. The system provides slant range coverage to a maximum of 400m. It has the following characteristics: Phase and A mplitude Bottom Detection, 150-degree wide swath coverage, 240 kHz Frequency, Up to 500m Range Capability, Portable Configuration. In addition to repair of the equipment, the contractor must be capable of providing technical assistance. The source must be familiar with this specific type of equipment. The estimated cost of repair is $10,000-$15,000. This Procurement is Unrestricted. Interested parties should contact Mr. Alan P. It is the bidders?????? responsibility to monito r the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. Any prospective offeror interested in making an offer must register for the Planholders?????? List in order to download a copy of the solicitation. If you are not registered, the U. S. Government is not responsible for providing you with notification of any changes to the solicitation. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The NAICS Code is 811219 (Repair of Navigational and Sonar Equipment). The SIC Code is 7699 (Maintenance and Repair Shops). Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), applies to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense CCR database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
