Description

This is a sources sought. A market survey is being conducted to determine what the industry can provide for the following. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9, is seeking qualified firms to conduct an Ecological Footprint Analysis of the operations of its regional office in San Francisco, CA. Qualifications,capabilities and relevant experience of firms include: Ability to conduct an organizational Ecological Footprint Analysis (EFA) Knowledge of the lastest Ecological Footprint Network EFA standards Knowledge of ISO 14000 standards for Environmental Management Systems Ability to conduct training on these concepts Project includes but not limited to the following: Conduct an Ecological Footprint Accounting (EFA) of Region 9 activities, including on-site operations, commuting, business travel, and conferences for a 1000-person office Integrate the EFA with Region 9's Environmental Management System Document the EFA process for EPA Region 9's future reference Train EPA staff on EFA theory, standards, and best practices Train EPA staff to conduct annual EFA updates for the Region All parties who are interested in receiving a future RFP, please submit your interest to Peggy De La Torre, Contracting Officer, email: delatorre.peggy@epa.gov or mail Peggy De La Torre, PMD-8, 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.
