Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), Insurance Operations Department (IOD) is seeking ongoing support of IOD's Procedures Manual. Team's mission is to maintain and build IOD's operating procedures. The contractor shall provide support to the preceding project in all areas of its operation, including independent and collaborative work in some of the following areas: 1) Develop detailed knowledge of PBGC and IOD, and thorough familiarity with IOD's procedures manual, online glossary and related documentation. 2) Research and analyze the impact of operational changes and proposed changes on existing procedures. 3) Develop new technical procedures & written material as needed, maintaining full documentation, and following established format of manual. 4) Function as a team member in various organizational project teams. 5) Maintain complete and accurate documentation for assignments. The maximum duration of this contract is one base year plus four option years. All requests shall reference Solicitation No. PBGC-RP-03-0023. Telephone requests for this solicitation will NOT be honored. All responsible parties submitting a proposal will be considered by the agency. The solicitation document, including amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of this solicitation and associated amendments will not be available. The estimated release date of this solicitation is July 21, 2003.
