- Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Directorate (AFRL/SN) solicits research proposals under Sensor Technology Research, Development, Test & Evaluation Open-Ended Broad Agency Announcement (STROEB). This announcement does not request any proposals at this time. Solicitations (or calls) for proposals will be accomplished via amendments to this BAA. The over-arching strategy of the BAA involves the use of this 5-year open-ended BAA, which spans the three major technology thrust areas of Automatic Target Recognition (ATR), Electro-Optics/Infrared (EO/IR), and Radio Frequency (RF). This strategy will provide AFRL/SN an acquisition tool with the flexibility to solicit proposals and make awards to develop technologies to meet present and future Air Force needs on a ?real-time? basis as ever-changing technology issues are identified.
