Description
CLASSIFICATION CODE- 65 Medical, Dental, Veterinary Equipment & Supplies NAICS ? 339112 SIZE STANDARD - 500m Description: It is the intent of the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System to make a sole source award to Otto Bock Healthcare for a quantity of four (4) L.A.S.A.R. Posture Components. This purchase is an addition to present equipment already installed and in service and is for the purpose of upgrading the Tri-Fab Initiative hardware that drives the limb fabrication. L.A.S.A.R. Posture quickly and precisely localizes the center of gravity line of a standing person and determines their exact weight. It also virtually displays the force and path at the center of gravity in any plain. The static support force, which is invisible to the naked eye is projected onto the body using a diffuse laser beam. This makes it possible to check body posture or the static alignment of orthopedic appliances or aids while they are on the patient. The L.A.S.A.R. Assembly uses three line lasers to project the alignment line in the sagittal and frontal views. The knee joint is secured in the device with special support according to the stipulated alignment values and mounted to the prosthetic foot and corresponding adapters. The L.A.S.A.R. Assembly permits measurable and reproducible three-dimensional of components in modular leg prosthesis, it is also possible to measure finished modular leg prosthesis for follow up fittings and be used to precisely align leg and spinal arthoses. This solicitation is being conducted under the provision of FAR 12.1 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
