Description

Provide all material, plant, labor and equipment and perform operations required for Miscellaneous Repairs, Starship Building 3210, Fort Benning, Georgia. The work shall consist of, but not limited to the following: (1) Replace the air handlers, duc twork, piping, and energy management controls in the mechanical rooms and sleeping bays of the starship; (2) Replace all make up air units and associated piping ductwork and energy management controls at the make air units; (3) Replace the exhaust fan, ven tilation units, heater units, and air handlers units in the dining and mess hall area: (4)Replace VAV units in all NCO Cadre rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors; (5) Replace all VAV and air handler units in the admin and battalion classroom areas. The Governm ent anticipated a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The procurement is unrestricted. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. Point of contract is Celes tine Bowers, Contract Specialist, (706) 545-0352. Bidders are reminded that you must be registered and currently active with Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. Solicitation will be available on or about 09 Jan 2004, and will be available at not cost on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI), Acquisition Business web Site http://acquisition.army.mil, however, if all information is not available according to the COVER SHEETS: CONSTRUCTION, SPECIFICATIONS AN D DRAWINGS, or on the ASFI website, it is recommended that bidders request, in writing, the solicitation on a compact disk by emailing BowersC@benning.army.mil or fax your request to (706)-545-6528. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by this agency.
