Description

CONTACT Chris Schilling, Electronics Engineer,(732) 532-3784. Sources sought to perform depot-level overhaul repairs of AN/TSQ-71B system. Detailed drawings and/or schematics of their internal design are not available. Work may need to be complete d in various locations to include Southwest Asia, Contractor's plant, Tobyhanna Army Depot, and military bases such as Ft. Hood, Ft Bragg, etc. The AN/TSQ-71B system is a transportable Ground Controlled Approach (GCA) facility consisting of the AN/TPN-18 Radar Set providing air-to-ground and ground-to-air radio communications. The AN/TSQ-71B was upgraded from the AN/TSQ-71A in 1983 and 1984 by To byhanna Army Depot (TYAD), Tobyhanna, PA. The AN/TSQ-71A was originally manufactured by General Industries Corporation (then ITT Gilfillan) in 1967. Currently, overhaul work of the system is being performed by TYAD. Contractors capable of providing the above-described services may contact the government via electronic mail. The response must include documentation showing that the contractor is capable of providing the required services. Responses must be received no later than 06 January 2004.
