The radome assembly shall completely enclose the APAR and attach to the sled. The radome shall be environmental controlled. The radome shall provide for weatherproof cable access for power and signal cables and include a person rated access opening. The sled and radome must be capable of surviving temperatures down to - 550C and winds in excess of 101kts gust. Support services are required both in CONUS and Antarctica and include system installation and integration of the APAR into the Air Traffic Control infrastructure at the runway support facility in McMurdo Station, Antarctica. On site systems level engineering and O&M support will be required during installation and initial FAA Flight Certification of the APAR. The vendor shall provide training on the functions, use, maintenance and support requirements of the APAR to ATC operations and Ground Electronics technical personnel in a school environment in CONUS and on site in Antarctica. CONUS training will require access to a fully functional APAR system for laboratory training.
