Description

CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW U.S. COURTHOUSE-ORLANDO, FLORIDA, Request for Proposal (RFP) ? Stage II, Solicitation No. GS-04P-00-EXC-0018. This notice announces that the General Services Administration is scheduled to issue the Construction Documents for Construction Services of the New U.S. Courthouse in Orlando, FL. In the initial stage, three General Contractors were shortlisted to continue to compete for this solicitation by aiding in the Design process. The two remaining GC?s are Hensel Phelps Construction, 6280 Hazeltine National Drive, Orlando, FL 328220 and Skanska USA Building, Inc., 60 North Court Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801. On December 29, 2003, the RFP/Construction Documents will be available to all interested contractors and vendors. Interested parties should contact the following printing service: ASG Computer Reprographic, 1510 East Colonial Drive, Suite 100, Orlando, FL 32803, Attention: Alex Silva, Phone (407) 895-5670, Fax (407) 895-5669. Due to National Security concerns, all sets of documents shall be tracked and are required to be returned to the Government. All recipients of the Construction Documents will be required to fill out a "Document Security Notice" form available from the Printer before they can be released. Tax ID and DUNS numbers need to be provided on this form. In order to ensure return of the documents, a refundable check deposit is required. Deposit amounts are: Full sets of drawings and specifications - $250.00 each set; Multiple volume partial sets and specifications - $250.00 each partial set; Single volume sets - $100.00 each; Specifications only - $50.00 each. Deposit checks must be made payable to ?LWA/HLM Design Joint Venture, LLC.? In addition, orders must be received in written format on company letterhead with a contact name clearly legible. Orders may be made in person at the Printer or faxed. Drawings will not be provided without receipt of a written order, security form and deposit check. Express mail shipping can be arranged through the Printer by providing a preaddressed mailing label with the billing account number filled out for Federal Express, UPS, or courier service. Following successful award of the project, drawings and specifications should be returned in good, useable condition for a refund of the deposit amount. Drawings and specifications must be returned to the office of the Architect: HLM Design, 800 North Magnolia Avenue, Suite 1100, Orlando, FL 32803, Attention: Julie Newberry.
