Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate a non-competitive contract with FEI Products, Limited Liability Company (LLC), 825 North Wurlitzer Drive, North Tonawanda, NY 14120. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has a requirement for 1,500,000 CuT 380A IUDs for contract production period January 2005 through December 2005, with an option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional units during this period. In addition, the contract will allow for two option years, with the base set at 500,000 and with an option to purchase up to 2,500,000 additional in each option year. The estimated value of this procurement is $14,430,600(including all options). As FEI Products, LLC is the only manufacturer of the CuT 380A IUD in the U.S. FEI?s product and its facility are FDA-approved, as is required for use in USAID family planning. USAID intends to negotiate a contract with this organization on a sole-source basis. Please direct all inquiries in writing regarding this procurement to the contact point above.
