- Description
- NAVSEA Indian Head Division has a requirement for the manufacture of parts for 18 each MK 437 Gun Mount Control Panels (GMCP). Each GMCP will be made up of various machined metal parts, and various metal parts to be machined, and then welded by the contractor. There will be two separate RFQ?s issued, one for the machined parts, and one for the weldment parts. Within the RFQ for the weldment parts, awards will be made at the CLIN level (multiple awards are anticipated). These requirements will be awarded based on a ?Best Value? determination, criteria of which will be outlined in the RFQ?s. Detailed technical drawings will be posted with the RFQ?s. Due to the requirement that only one solicitation number can be entered into each synopsis, there will be two separate postings in NECO/Fedbizops, each with a solicitation (RFQ) number for either the machined parts, or the weldment par ts.
