- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has a requirement for an established storage facility and warehousing services in the Washington metropolitan area. To support its mission, the OCC requires services to transport, store and inventory excess property. The established storage facility must be within a 35-mile radius of OCC headquarters at 250 E Street, SW, Washington, DC. Currently, stored items require approximately 15,000 square feet of commercial storage space and the primary pick up and delivery location is the OCC headquarters building. Items moved and stored include, but are not limited to, furniture, equipment, modular office elements, supplies, boxed publications, and related items. Services shall include maintaining a perpetual inventory of all OCC property stored at the facility, updating the inventory daily, and providing the OCC with electronic access to the inventory. The anticipated period of performance is May 1, 2004 through September 30, 2004, with four 12-month option periods. This is a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 493110. The acquisition will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5. The solicitation will contain the Performance Work Statement, instructions for submitting a quote, and the evaluation/selection procedures. The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about January 16, 2004 on this web site. A pre-proposal site visit of the current facility is planned on or about January 27, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the OCC. See Note Number 1.
