Description

The work consists of dredging approximately 400,000 cubic yards of maintenance material, beach nourishment, levee work, and placement area rehabilitation. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North Ame rican Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 40.4%; Small Disadvantaged B usiness - 16.0%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 5.6%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 3.0%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 345C. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issu e date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation, at: www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. All contractors are encouraged to visit the Army's Single Face to Industry website at: http//acquisition.army.mil to vie w other business opportunities.
