Description
Indefinite Quantity Contracts resulting from Solicitation #332495-04-A-0006 will provide for asbestos-containing material removal, repair and/or encapsulation at various owned or leased postal facilities in the entire New York Metro area which encompasses the following geographic area: Northern and Central New Jersey ? Counties of Sussex, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Warren, Morris, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, Somerset, Hunterdon and Mercer; New York City and surrounding counties ? Boroughs of Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk counties; and Westchester ? Counties of Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Green, Sullivan, Ulster, Putnam, and parts of Delaware, Albany and Columbia. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, the Postal Service reserves the right to award multiple contracts. Contractors must have a minimum of three years experience in asbestos-containing materials removal, repair and encapsulation work and must possess the capability of working at least three to four concurrent jobs. Contractors must possess all proper certifications as required by federal, state and local laws. Competency requirement must be submitted with your proposal. Failure to do so may adversely affect consideration of your proposal. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, multiple contracts may be awarded. Offers will consist of a single multiplier. The multiplier must contain the offeror?s overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. The multiplier will be applicable to each and every item of work listed in the Unit Price Schedule set forth in the specifications. The contract will be for two years, with three one-year renewal options. The total contract cannot exceed $5,000,000. The initial contract value is $1,500,000. The postal service reserves the right to increase the potential value of the contract by additional increments of $500,000, not to exceed $5,000,000. If and when the potential value is increased, additional bonding will be required for each incremental increase. Individual projects will be awarded in the form of Work Orders. The maximum amount of any one Work Order is $250,000.00. The maximum cumulative total dollar value of all Work Orders during the five year period may not exceed $5,000,000.00. Specific work orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the Technical Specs/Unit Price Schedule. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of Work Orders. There is no guaranteed minimum. MBE/WBE participation is encouraged. Award will be made in accordance with Section M of the solicitation. Solicitation packages will be available on or about January 8, 2004. Requests for solicitation packages must first be faxed to Mr Kevin Tremble, Fax#201-489-0674. Package can be purchased in person at the office of Tech Repro, Inc, 65 Zabriskie St, Hackensack, NJ 07601-4923; ATTN: Ms Jackie Hand; Tel #201-489-1333 and must be accompanied by a company check, certified check, USPS Money Order or credit card in the amount specified by Tech Repro, made payable to Tech Repro Inc. Packages can be mailed for an additional shipping & handling charge as specified by Tech Repro. Payments for solicitation packages are NON-REFUNDABLE. Sealed Offers are to be returned to USPS, New York Facilities Service Office, 2 Hudson Place - 5th Fl, Hoboken, NJ 07030-5502; ATTN: Ms Toni Smith and will be received prior to, but not later than, January 29, 2004 at 3:00 PM. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of offerors, the amount of any offer or relative standing of the offers will NOT be disclosed to anyone until time of contract award.
