Description
Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide a ventilation system for the Boat Maintnenace Facility at Station Coos Bay, Charleston, Oregon. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Provide a ventilation system to the Boat Maintenance Facility for the removal of paint fume generated by boat painting activities inside the building. The system shall consist of three low speed, low noise, high volume, wall volume, wall mounted, exhaust centrifugal fans, each capable of removing at least 1,100 cfm of air at 0.25? water gauge static pressure from the boat maintenance area. The proposed locations of the fans are shown on the project drawings. The exact locations of fans shall be field determined; Provide a combination louver to supply air to the Boat Maintenance Shop and maintain atmoshere pressure when the ventilation system is on as indicated on the drawings. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 to $100,000 (CONSTRUCTION BIDS ONLY). Performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Notice to Proceed shall not begin until May 2004. The applicable NAICS code is 238220. Small Business size standard is $12 million. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond. Offerors should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on this website. This solicitation can be downloaded from (http://www.eps.gov/) on approximately 26 January 2004. If it does not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 25 February 2004. This date is estimated and may change. For security reasons all Coast Guard Drawings are available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) which will have a separate link on the FedBizOps webpage identified as Technical Data Package. Offerors will need to register with FedTeDS and receive a user name and password to be able to download Coast Guard Drawings. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000.00 with interest at the prime rate.
