Description
UPDATED REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SYNOPSIS Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER Estimated Date. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Gateway technical assistance is available at admin_support@pgmail.daps.mil. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page http://ct.dscp.dla.mil/Contracting/. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. Carrier, Desert Camouflage NSN: 9925-01-462-6242 and Carrier, Woodland Camouflage NSN: 9925-01-452-3887 This is a limited Best Value procurement. A technical proposal is required including a Product Demonstration Model (PDM) and Past Performance. This buy is for a Min: 680 Max: 1310 for the base and all four Options for the desert camouflage and Min: 0 Max: 500 for the base and Min: 1400 and Max: 4245 for all the Options the Woodland Camouflage. This acquisition is a Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity Type Contract, Destination New Cumberland. Length of term is 485 days. No GFM, materials used in fabrication are to be furnished by the contractor. The anticipated solicitation date is 9 Feb 2004. Solicitation/Specification/Patterns may be requested through gateway. Modify: The Specification is FP/PD9903A dated March 23, 1999.
