Description

Facilities operation and maintenance services are required at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service facilities located in Laramie, WY. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials, except those specified as Government furnished, to provide facilities operations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, administrative, security, and safety support service to the USDA, ARS, Bio-containment Complex, Laramie, WY. Facilities operation and maintenance functions include but are not limited to the areas of work management, preventative maintenance, building maintenance, alteration and repair, heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC), electrical, security systems and devices, and safety. The contractor shall perform all related services necessary to carry out the provisions of the contract, including quality control, financial control, maintenance of accurate and complete records, files and libraries of documents to include Federal, State, local regulations, codes, laws, technical manuals, and manufacturer?s instructions and recommendations. Contractor personnel shall be subjected to a background investigation to determine suitability to be granted access to a BL-3 agricultural facility. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) prior to award of a contract. You may register at the following web site: www.ccr.gov. This is a 100% set-aside for small business (less than $7 million per year). The solicitation is being conducted using commercial items best value procedures. The evaluation criteria in no order of importance are price, past performance, contractor?s experience in similar projects, amount and type of training of contractor?s employees, quality control, warranties.
