- This is a MODIFICATION to the previous notice published 1/5/04 regarding the National Defense Tank Vessel Construction Assistance Program. Please note the following date changes - The meeting with the Shipyards Only is rescheduled from Monday, January 12, 2004 from 9:30 to 12:30 to Friday, January 16, 2004 from 1:00 to 4:00. If you plan to attend you must respond via email to NDTVC.MARAD@marad.dot.gov no later than January 14, 2004. The meeting with the Owners and/or Operators is rescheduled from Friday, January 9, 2004 from 9:30 to 12:30 to Wednesday, January 28, 2004 from 1:00 to 4:00. If you plan to attend you must respond via email to NDTVC.MARAD@marad.dot.gov no later than January 23, 2004. Please remember only 2 representatives from each company will be permitted to attend. DOT is a secured facility and you should allow at least 45 minutes for Security Clearance. Representatives shall be required to present 2 forms of Identification, at least one Picture ID. A Request for Proposal shall be issued within 90 days after the date of enactment of the National Defense Tank Vessel Construction Assistance Program.
