- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request for quote is issued with reference number F5CERF33290200. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. The NAICS code for this requirement is 442210 and the size standard is $6.0 million. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. There are (6) six line items for this requirement as follows: CLIN 0001: Services personal: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide the installation of 1575 yards of new carpeting with direct glue without attached pad. CLIN 0002: Take-up and dispose existing 1575 yards of Double Stick Carpet. CLIN 0003: Furnish and install 2400 foot of 4inch rubber base. CLIN 0004: Furnish and install 164ft of transition/reducers. CLIN 0005: 48 hours of Floor Prep (Labor and Materials). CLIN 0006: Furnish Adhesives 4 gallon pails. The schedule for the carpeting installation phases will be provided to the contractor upon award. Flexibility is critical due to the nature of the work being done in the building. This project cannot proceed to the next phase until the previous phase is complete. If the schedule slips, the government will provide an updated schedule to the awarded contractor. Proposal evaluation and award will be completed using FAR Part 13. Due to the nature of this requirement, there will be a site visit held 14 January 2004 at 10:00 A.M. PST. It is highly recommended that all offerors attend the site visit. All offerors who plan to attend the site visit must submit the names of the personnel from your firm no later than 12 January 2004 at 3:00 P.M. PST. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 P.M. PST on 28 January 2004. Oral responses will not be accepted. Responding offerors must provide their company name, point of contact, and telephone number on the bid. Quote is valid for 60 days from the date of submission.
