Description

DESC: NSN: 4330-01-294-1997, Part Number 5-45-4893. This acquisition will be a five (5) year requirement contract. The item to procure is a FILTER ELEMENT, FLUID. LONG LINE DESC: FLUID FILTER ELEMENT SHALL BE CAPABLE OF A FLOW OF 30 GPM TO 35 GPM, H AVE A 149 MICRON FILTER ELEMENT RATING. FILTER IS 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER X 4.88 INCHES LONG. REQUIREMENT IS MINIMUM RANGE OF 100 TO A MAXIMUM RANGE OF 500 UNITS PER ORDERING PERIOD. FOB is DESTINATION. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside . The solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria .army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicita tion has been released to the internet. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY04 requirement. Estimated issue date is 19 Feb 04. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issue d electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above inter net address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
