- Description
- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Sole-Source Request for Quotation (RFQ) for (15) 35mm Motion Cameras and (17) 1000 ft. magazines. NASA will use these cameras to provide engineering analysis data for all Shuttle Launch and Landing activities. NASA/KSC intends to purchase these items from Photo-Sonics, Inc., Burbank, CA in accordance with the statutory authority U.S.C. 2304 (d)(1)(B). This is a sole-source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Photo-Sonics, Inc. is the only known responsible source that can meet the Government?s specification. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP). This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by mail, fax, or email to Ms Regina Clifton not later than 12 NOON Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, January 14, 2004.
