Description

SUBJECT: Industry Day Conference Invitation, F34650-03-R-0013X, Air Force Materiel Command, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, (OC-ALC), Transformation of OC-ALC Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Facilities at Tinker AFB. You are invited to attend an Industry Day conference at Tinker AFB, OK on Thursday, 28 Aug 2003, regarding the upcoming solicitation for the transformation of OC-ALC MRO facilities at Tinker AFB. Industry Day is scheduled 0800 - 1500 in the Hill Conference Center, Bldg 1093, Tinker AFB, OK. Registration is from 0730 - 0800. This industry conference has been scheduled for the purpose of sharing information. The MRO facilities transformation acquisition team (MA-T) will provide a top-level overview of the requirement and share with industry any information currently available on the planned effort. Industry is cautioned that MA-T has not yet determined the final acquisition strategy and available information is limited. Another goal of this Industry Day conference is to solicit input from industry to assist the MA-T acquisition team in market research and final acquisition planning. Time will be set aside for vendor questions. Questions may be submitted in advance to the POCs identified below. One-on-one discussions are available upon request. Sessions will be scheduled on a first-come, first serve basis. Depending on the number of requests received, some sessions may be scheduled on 29 Aug. One-on-one discussions will be limited to 45-minute sessions and are not intended as capability briefings. Requests for one-on-one discussions and questions should be e-mailed to Dianne.Hernandez@tinker.af.mil no later than 21 Aug 2003. The Government plans to post a draft statement of objectives (SOO) on 21 Aug, and will continue to post all information concerning the acquisition at this site, FedBizOps (www.eps.gov), as it becomes available. The Government reserves the right to publish any new information disclosed about this acquisition that it believes will be useful to all potential offerors. NOTE: Information provided during this conference will not qualify the terms and conditions of any resulting Request for Proposal (RFP). The definitive treatment of any problems and/or questions will be handled in the formal RFP. Due to base security procedures, the following information is required for each attendee: Full Name, Company/Organization Affiliation, Address, Telephone Number, and E-Mail address. Prospective companies interested in attending must provide a list of personnel who plan to attend no later than 21 Aug 03 to ensure base access is approved. This includes those attendees who may already have access to the base. As conference space is limited, each company or team is limited to three attendees. Conference attendees should enter through the Gott Gate (Gate 34) and need to present the following information to the gate guard: Picture ID, purpose and length of visit. Driver must also present driver’s license and car insurance verification. Parking at Bldg 1093 is limited and unexpected delays may be encountered entering the base.
