Description

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is seeking the services of a professional physical fitness contractor to manage and operate a physical fitness center located in the Hart Senate Office Building, 2nd & Constitution Ave., NE Washington, DC 20510. The fitness center has a potential membership pool of 500+ U.S. Senate Staff employees. The fitness center must be staffed during the hours of 6:00am - 8:00pm Monday - Friday and periodically on weekends and/or holidays. The contractor will be required to collect membership dues, conduct preventive maintenance on Government provided exercise equipment, conduct promotional membership drives/open houses, and maintain membership database. The contractor must have at least five (5) years experience managing and operating a physical fitness center. The AOC anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will consistent of a Base Year and three (3), one-year Option Periods.
